In this tutorial, we had our second quiz for the first 10 minutes. I am very happy as the quiz had a bigger audience (70+) as compared to Quiz1 which only 40+ students took part.

I also assigned Homework 4, which is the last (graded) homework for this semester. It carries a weightage of 4 %. It can be of any higher level of programming (MATLAB, Mathematica, etc) to solve Problem 5.7. I expect you to have a 1-page summary of what you have done as far as the coding is concerned. I expect you to spend between 2-4 hours for this homework (BTW, I spend about 2 hours to solve this problem using MATLAB).

My recent email response to some of you who have submitted the homework today (14th May, 2012):
Do a 1-page report (Word or handwritten) to interpret what you have plotted. You cannot simply give the equation without describing the results that you have obtained.
Anyway, please email me the 1-page along side with the code (of course you already have the description) so that I will be able to give you the right credit. By the way, the contact potential should also be in the log scale format.
P/S: It is very important for you to give me your full name and your ID number. Failing to do so will result in me not recognizing who you are and no credit will be awarded.
