I will be spending two hours on tomorrow's lecture for Section 2.3 and 2.4. Section 2.3, Bohr Model is very straightforward and do not pose a lot of difficulties for myself as well as for the students' point of view. Definitely, Section 2.4 poses a great challenge on me as the section is very mathematically involved and seems highly obscured. I have read the materials over three times and still have some difficulties in comprehending the materials. I then use Google and find a very interesting article on evolution of a person named Dan Dill of Boston University who had written a good article on how to understand Shrodinger Equation. Please refer to his article for details: http://quantum.bu.edu/notes/QuantumMechanics/TheSchrodingerEquation.pdf. I hope this will help you in case you want to know further beyond the materials in the class. I have not decided now on the level of depth as far as Shrodinger Equation is concerned.
