Today, I will be covering 2 sections from Chapter 2, i.e. Section 2.2 on Experimental Observations on photoelectric effects and Section 2.3 on Bohr Model which establishes the basis of quantum mechanics' theory. There will be few verifications through calculations that I will go through if time permits.
Happy Reviewing!

Dear Ming You,
ReplyDeleteYou can use the notations that you are familiar with in your form 6 in your studies. However, in homework, test and exam you have to follow Streetmen's notations.
As explained in class, LPE is not covered as it is already explained in Chzoralski process (a form of LPE but at the crystal's melting point) but LPE is taking place at much lower temperature. Note that, you are not responsible for LPE material in this class as Streetman does not cover it. If you want to know more please use the 5 references given by Streetman in the textbook
at the end of Chapter 1.
